Teaching Budd:e

Budd:e (Secondary) has been developed for Australian secondary schools, specifically for Years 7 and 8.

The Budd:e module is suitable for use by students working alone, working in small groups, or for teacher-led whole class activity via a data projector or interactive whiteboard.

There are three main sections to the secondary learning module, the GAME, VIDEOS, and FAQ.  A fourth section - the STUDIO - is where students may use their credits from the GAME for parts and accessories to customise their Budd:e.

Typically, an individual student will work through the Budd:e GAME in 20 minutes. However, the activity raises complex cybersecurity and related issues.  Therefore, allowing for class discussions, a session of the Budd:e GAME might provide the foundation for a full (approximately) 40 minute lesson.

To support teaching of the module, here you will find a detailed cheat-sheet for the GAME, plus Budd:e curriculum maps for all Australian states and territories.
